Following increases to Companies House fees on 1 May 2024, the Registrar of Companies has announced further fee changes, set to take effect from 1 February 2026. These changes come after a review of the fees to ensure Companies House reflects the cost of delivering their services accurately.

Companies House stated that the work it is doing is ‘creating a transparent marketplace that boosts economic confidence and disrupts economic crime by taking robust action to prevent criminals from abusing the UK’s corporate structures, giving legitimate companies the assurance they need to do business in the UK.’
What are Companies House fees used for?

- Fund investigation and enforcement activity by the Insolvency Service
Its powers also allow the querying and removal of false and misleading information from the public registers. This increases trust and reduces the harm posed by non-compliant companies or inaccurate information. Companies House continues to work to prevent economic crime and boost the UK’s business market.
To cover the costs of the Companies House increases, we will have to increase our prices. Any packages or services purchased before 1 February 2026 will be honoured at the current (old) price. Any purchases made after this time will be affected by the new pricing structure. We suggest all information is submitted as early as possible to take advantage of our current pricing.
